Vue du théâtre de Taormina. Paysage de montagne, des promontoires dominant la mer qui apparait au second plan à gauche. Au premier plan à gauche, ruines. Au premier plan à droite, colonne de personnages, bergers, un homme et une femme montés sur des ânes, conduisant un troupeau de bovins sur un chemin escarpé. Au second plan, ruines antiques et maisons dispersées sur la montagne. Dessin souligné d'un cadre dessiné, alternance de bandes noires et vertes.
