verre multicouche (4 couches) à décor gravé à l'acide ; Vase de guerre en verre multicouche à décor gravé à l'acide. Sur l'une de ses faces, on reconnaît la croix de Lorraine et le chardon de Nancy, dont les épines enserrent un aigle, allégorie de l'Empire allemand, qui se débat en vain. Les fleurs des chardons sont représentées sous des traits humains (peut-être des caricatures des généraux français ?). Sur l'autre face, on peut voir un village incendié, la couleur rouge orangée de l'oeuvre rappelant les flammes dévastatrices. Ce vase a été réalisé en réaction à la Bataille du Grand Couronné.
