Description
Vase-balustre sur pied court convexe, à panse bombée, col large et concave, lèvre ourlée, en faïence fine à émaux polychromes semi-opaques. Si la forme est inspirée librement de la céramique chinoise, le décor subit l'influence japonaise. L'épaule porte deux anses en application en forme de dragons rampants, en faïence à émaux fondus jaune et brun avec coulures brunes sur la panse. Le pied est à rayures violettes opposées sur fond blanc, motif d'inspiration japonaise imitant la paille tressée, la lèvre à émail violet nuageux avec coulures sur la panse. La panse et le col portent un décor continu de fleurs (chrysanthèmes d'un côté, branche fleurie de l'autre) avec un oiseau et cinq papillons, le tout sur fond céladon nuageux. Les motifs sont partiellement cernés après l'application de l'émail peint. Le haut de la panse est orné d'une frise légèrement bombée, à motifs de rinceaux noirs et de fleurs stylisées rouges inspirés du décor d'une soierie japonaise traditionnelle. La frise est délimitée par deux filets noirs et soulignées de part et d'autre par une frise de points et de vagues bleu-turquoise. L'intérieur est couvert d'un émail bleu-turquoise dit "bleu de Deck". ; faïence fine à émaux polychromes semi-opaques
