L'oeuvre a été exécutée en papier vélin, pierre noire, crayon graphite, gouache blanche, aquarelle, carton. Elle mesure Hauteur en cm avec montage 46.8 ; Largeur en cm avec montage 39.8 ; Hauteur en cm 40 ; Largeur en cm 36. On y reconnaît : scène (femme, maladie, coiffe : Limousin, homme, guérisseur). Sa période de création est la 4e quart 19e siècle. Informations complémentaires : Gaston Vuillier est né le 7 octobre 1845 à Gincla, près de Perpignan, (Pyrénées Orientales). Après une brève carrière préfectorale, il se consacre à la peinture. Voyageur, illustrateur et auteur, il collabore aux revues 'Le Magasin pittoresque' et 'Le Tour du Monde'. En 1880 il rejoint le groupe des peintres de Crozant. Il adoptera le Limousin et en 1892, se fixera en Corrèze à Gimel-les-Cascades, où il décèdera le 2 février 1915.
