Le tableau est divisé en deux scènes : - dans la partie supérieure, un tableau représentant le Jugement Dernier, de style rubénien; -dans la partie inférieure, la famille de Claude de Haynin, dit de Hennin, seigneur de Warlaing, dont ses deux épouses, son fils Antoine, devenu évêque d'Ypres en 1614 et qui fut auparavant fondateur du séminaire des théologiens de Douai (1606)
