Description
Ce buste de Jean-Jacques Rousseau, signé un an après la mort de l'écrivain est moulé en terre-cuite. On sait que le sculpteur avait pris soin de prendre l'empreinte du visage de Rousseau à sa mort. Il porte ici un habit à la française et le visage, coiffé d'une perruque, est traité avec une grande sensibilité.
