On sait de cette oeuvre que : RABIER : Dessinateur humoriste (La Roche-sur-Yon, 1864 - Faverolles, 1939). Créateur de personnages animaliers (le canard Gédéon), il est l'auteur d'histoires illustrées surtout destinées à la jeunesse. (Tintin lutin, 1891 - Caramel, histoire d'un singe, 1904 - les animaux en liberté, 1910). Il a également illustré les Fables de la Fontaine. c. Larousse.
