Assiette de forme lentille. Au centre de la vignette, deux mains tenant les drapeaux de leur pays respectif se serrent ; au fond, sur la mer, des cuirassiers. Au-dessus, une chope, un médaillon avec l'inscription 'Souvenir cordial de la ville de St-Petersbourg au cuirassé 'Marengo' en mémoire de sa visite amicale à la Russie en juillet 1891'. Sous la chope, dans un cartouche, La Bratina (coupe de la fraternité) juillet 1891 ; sous la vignette, une coupe, un médaillon avec l'inscription 'A l'illustre général Saussier'. Souvenir de Moscou 1886. Une signature : Ch. Berton. Autour de la scène centrale, une couronne de lauriers, deux écus, à gauche aux armes de la France, à droite aux armes de la Russie.
