Le thème de l'oeuvre est : représentation végétale (pivoine, chrysanthème, marguerite, oiseau, insecte, tête de ruyi, à l'extrême-orientale). Elle a été créée durant la 4e quart 17e siècle. On sait de cette oeuvre que : fondée en 1658 par Wouter van Eenhoorn. Dirigée successivement par Samuel van Eenhoorn, Adriaen Kocks, Pieter Adriaensz Kocks. Rachetée en 1758 par Jan Theunis Dextra. La dernière marque, jusqu'en 1785, fut celle de Jan van den Briel. La dernière mention dans les archives date de 1818.
