Description
Vase haut en cristal, sensiblement évasé, coiffé par un couvercle conique à petit bouton, porté par une jambe régulièrement ornée de trois renflements et un pied plat, à décor de motifs post-rocaille, d'architectures et d'animaux ; Une jambe, ornée de deux disques aux extrémités et d'un noeud central, soutenue par un pied plat, porte un vase haut sensiblement évasé fermé par un couvercle conique muni d'une longue prise, taillée en facettes. Excepté l'élément de fermeture, notre pièce présente un profil identique au vase n° 2005-0-4 de notre collection. La composition rigoureuse du décor gravé évoque celle des objets n° 2005-0-3, n° 2005-0-4, n° 2005-0-6, n° 2005-0-7, n° 2005-0-8, n° 2005-0-14, n° 2005-0-15, n° 2005-0-16, n° 2005-018, n° 2005-0-19, n° 2005-0-25, n° 2005-0-26, n° 2005-0-27, n° 2005-0-28, n° 2005-0-29 et n° G 353. Deux architectures, encadrant un cerf, et inversement, deux animaux semblables, enserrant un édifice, alternent verticalement avec deux motifs de post-rocaille sur le vase, tandis qu'un cerf et un édifice, séparés par l'ornement abstrait, décorent le pied. Trois motifs de panier et autant de fleurs stylisées ornent les renflements du couvercle. Comme sur les objets n° 2005-0-8, n° 2005-0-17, n° 2005-0-18, n° 2005-0-19, n° 2005-0-25, n° 2005-0-26, n° 2005-0-27, n° 2005-28, n° 2005-0-29 et n° 6875-1, les animaux et le nombre d'architectures s'équilibrent. L'exubérance de l'ornementation et les courbes rappellent la tendance rococo née sous le règne de Louis XIV, mais les formes abstraites supplantent les formes naturalistes. Toutes les pièces comparatives sont datées des années 1850 dans la mesure où l'on observe un fort intérêt de la production bohémienne pour le gibier (Munich, Bayerisches Nationalmuseum, n° 24/339, n° 55/197 et n° 71/468 - Dijon, musée des Beaux-Arts, n° 2005-0-49 et n° 2005-0-50).
