Cette oeuvre est réalisée en porcelaine tendre nouvelle. Cette pièce mesure H. 6.9, D. 7 (tasse) ; D. 13.6 (soucoupe). Cette réalisation date de la 4e quart 18e siècle. Concernant cette pièce : Gérard : actif de 1771 à 1825. Il fut un habile peintre de sujets pastoraux. Entré comme apprenti à Sèvres en 1771, à moins de quatorze ans, il gagnait déjà 54 livres par mois en 1784. Après avoir cumulé le rôle de chef du fours de peinture et de peintre, il devint chef d'atelier de peinture et de dorure de 1804 à sa retraite#Chauveau le père : actif de 1752 à 1788.
