Description
Jeune femme debout vêtue d'une tunique longue et d'un manteau (paenula ?) tenu sur l'épaule gauche, elle porte également une médaille en pendentif autour du cou. Le traitement minutieux du visage (pupilles incisées) et de la coiffure (tirée en arrière) montre une certaine attention du sculpteur, qui se retrouve dans les plis du drapé. L'offrante tend un plat circulaire de sa main droite, tandis que sa main gauche collée contre l'abdomen renferme un objet rond qui pourrait être une grenade. Une vis moderne est fixée sous les pieds. A rapprocher de la statuette 25649. Cette oeuvre trouve également un parallèle avec l'offrante 312 dans Anne-Marie ADAM, Bronzes étrusques et italiques (Paris 1984), que l'auteur s’appuyant sur les travaux de Giovanni Colonna - identifie comme appartenant au "groupe de Bologne. La parenté de l'oeuvre 25248 avec le n°312 permet donc d'attribuer sa fabrication au "maestro B" qui travaillait probablement en milieu picénien dans la deuxième moitié du V° siècle.
